The 'Mosaico' collection has been created to demonstrate once again that Buccellati's craftsmanship is continuously renewed and brings the savoir-faire of the past and present into a future of light and renewed artistry, combining aesthetics with the Maison's centuries-old history.

Mosaico' brings us back to the Byzantine mosaics that developed between 400 and 568 A.D., and that were the primary inspiration for this collection. Just think of the dome of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, in Ravenna, covered with a delicate starry sky, in a triumph of blue and gold reminiscent of an enamelled jewel. Or the mosaics of various churches whose friezes imitate pearls and precious stones, with weaves and indentations worthy of a jewel.
